Smoochin Pooches

Ok... this one was an extraordinarily specific request from a customer that came into the car lot and saw me building my Shenanigan Bear. Turns out her birthday and anniversary are both on St Patty's Day.

We worked this one out over the next 30 minutes or so while I rummaged around Google and took notes.

She wanted a Yorkie with trimmed hair (symbolizing her) and a Victorian Bulldog (her boyfriend) with their noes touching (smooching). She wanted them to have cartoon-ish features and big round feet.

Spike and Tyke from Tom and Jerry were also used as references.

Then she wanted them on a stand with a banner. Voila...

Both collars and the bow, down to the colors of everything, all requested specifically.

She also wanted a very high gloss on them so I used Triple Thick because it glossed the books beautifully, so I figured why not this

Handmade and hand painted by me. Made with Sculpey (polymer clay), cell phone bling on the collar, and they have seed beads for eyes.
