Rose WIP

Custom request from a co-worker

He wanted a rose for his significant other... and after looking at several blown glass roses he decided to see if I could make something similar out of clay. We looked at a few pictures and he saw one that looked sort of like this.

There are probably much easier ways to go about this, but to get it to stand up, I took three strands of the thickest wire I had on hand and wrapped it (A LOT) with a thinner wire. Then I shaped it and covered it in clay

This actually didn't give me anywhere near as much trouble as some of my other statues.
